The EP starts off with 'Raised', with an almost glam rock swing to it, the track leads into a joyous journey, seeking redemption from lapsed beliefs.
‘Call or Follow’ is possibly the finest song they have released and should be a hit. Beautiful vocals and impressive guitar perfection.
‘Famiglia’ starts off like a latter day Mogwai and takes a detour through some explosive riffage.
The Keep's remix of Passageway deconstructs the original to its bare bones,and turns light into darkness.
ThickWall gets the JXHale treatment.

Modern Rituals will go on an indefinite hiatus once this is released. And why not, it's always good to end on a high. Thank you MR.

Well this is damn good. I’m struggling to describe it, but here goes: Birthday Party era Nick Cave arthouse post punk with a stoner rock vibe to the production. Whew! The bass drives the music and there is considerable variety between the songs. They tag it as, among others, psychedelic rock, and while I’m not sure I hear it, this lines up nicely with other recent standout additions to my collection like Hochen, Dreamtime, and Black Rainbows, who also use that tag.
