The Left Outsides / Mésange (GOD052) Split 7" Limited edition 300 copies only
Record/Vinyl + Digital Album
The Left Outsides are: Mark Nicholas and Alison Cotton, a husband and wife duo based in London, England whose atmospheric, hypnotic songs echo Nico's icy European folk, pastoral psychedelia and chilly English fields at dawn.
Mésange is a collaboration between violinist Agathe Max (Kuro) and guitarist Luke Mawdsley. Their music is possessed and steered by a solemn power that embraces the elements and careers through dense electric skies; exposing signs that flutter and flare in dark elegance.
All packaged in a beautifully designed die cut sleeve with insert and download code.

Ghostly violas and droning harmoniums adrift in a fathomless limbo...a somber experience, but strangely comforting, like being wrapped in a warm blanket on a gray autumn afternoon. neu-mann

My favorite of their albums. It includes dreamy instrumentals immersed in classical violin to fairly straight ahead rockers. It all works amazingly well. brit_b

Beautiful British psych/folk, with dueling male/female vocals, a bit like Fairport Convention. A great record to play on these gray winter days. Levrikon
